Once upon a time, three generations of makers decided that creating things together was simply too much fun to keep to themselves.
And so, Crafty-KIN was born.
We’re a grandma, a mom, and a granddaughter who love to make things. Lots of things. A little sewing here, some crochet there, beads that catch the light, whimsical creatures that seem to have wandered straight out of a storybook, and all sorts of treasures that make us smile.
Our workshop sits beside a lake, tucked among old, sprawling live oaks here in Central Florida. It’s a place where creativity tends to wander wherever it pleases — and where you never quite know what might be taking shape next.
Some days we’re surrounded by yarn and fabric.
Some days there are beads sparkling in every direction.
Some days a new creature mysteriously appears on the worktable.
And honestly… we’re perfectly happy with that.

🌿 Terry — FlipflopNana
Every good crafting adventure needs a grandma who isn’t afraid to follow a little bit of whimsy.
That’s Terry.
She’s the crocheter, sewist, creature-maker, and general keeper of crafty chaos. Her creations tend to lean toward the whimsical side — especially when they involve cuddly creatures, woodland friends, dragons, and other little beings who look as though they might have stepped right out of a storybook.
If something needs to be stitched, crocheted, imagined, or given a personality, there’s a good chance Terry is somewhere nearby with yarn in her hands.
✨ Tasha — T Sparkles
If it sparkles, catches the light, or has the potential to become something wonderful, Tasha is probably interested.
Tasha creates beautiful beaded suncatchers and sparkly treasures — and she has a particular talent for seeing possibilities where other people might simply see something destined for the trash bin.
She loves turning the ordinary into extraordinary and believes that a little sparkle can make just about anything better.
Hence the name…

🐉 Alyssa — The Book Dragon
And then there’s Alyssa — our resident artist, book lover, and keeper of the beads.
Known around here as The Beaded Dragon, Alyssa creates beaded keychains, bag charms, zipper pulls, bookmarks, stickers, and other little treasures designed to follow you wherever your adventures take you.
She’s always experimenting with something new, which means there is rarely a dull moment in her corner of the workshop.
And yes… there may be dragons involved.

We don’t really fit neatly into one crafty little box.
That’s part of the fun.
You might find whimsical plush creatures, woodland friends, dragons, beaded suncatchers, sparkly treasures, jewelry, handmade home décor, bookish goodies, or tiny things that simply make you grin.
We love storybooks, enchanted forests, cottage-core charm, sparkles, nature, books, creatures, and all the little details that make ordinary days feel a bit more magical.
Most importantly, we love making things that bring a little joy, wonder, and whimsy into someone’s world.
